Why report?

Music is someone’s property. It becomes available to the public when it is recorded onto a sound carrier or when it is made available to the public via the Internet. For this to be possible, someone must invest their effort and financial resources.

A user is a legal entity or natural person who, within the territory of the Republic of Serbia, performs its registered business activity and publicly uses the OFPS repertoire. Pursuant to Article 187 of the Law on Copyright and Related Rights (Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia No. 104/09, 99/11, 119/12, 29/16 – CC RS Decision, 90/18 – CC RS Decision, and 66/19), users are obliged to provide the Organization with information on the title of the protected subject matter, the frequency and scope of its use, as well as any other circumstances relevant for the calculation and distribution of remuneration payable in accordance with the tariff.

Users who are authorized under the law to use protected subject matter without the permission of the rightholder are nevertheless obliged to pay remuneration.

If you use the OFPS repertoire, i.e. if you play music on premises where you perform your registered business activity, please fulfill your legal obligation and register.
