Public Communication
Exploitation of the OFPS repertoire includes public communication of phonograms by the users who exploit the repertoire while performing their business activity or otherwise on their premises or in other areas (cafés, hotels, night clubs, discotheques, shops, shopping malls, sports halls, stadiums, trade fair halls, public transportation, dancing schools, fitness centres, and other premises and areas).
The user is obliged to notify OFPS in writing of any exploitation of the Organisation’s repertoire by 30 January for the relevant calendar year.
The remuneration for the use of the subject-matters of protection from the OFPS repertoire by public communication of phonograms and by public communication of phonograms being broadcast is set as an aggregate amount for the relevant calendar year, regardless of the extent of exploitation.
