Public Performance
The use of the OFPS repertoire includes the public performance of phonograms by users who use the repertoire in the course of their business activities or otherwise on their premises or in other spaces (cafés, hotels, night clubs, discotheques, shops, shopping malls, sports halls, stadiums, exhibition halls, public transport, dance schools, fitness centers, and other premises and areas).
Users are required to notify OFPS in writing of any use of the Organization’s repertoire by 30 January for the relevant calendar year.
The remuneration for the use of protected subject matter from the OFPS repertoire by way of public performance of phonograms, as well as public performance of broadcast phonograms, is determined as a lump-sum amount for the relevant calendar year, irrespective of the extent of use.
